Cocaine is a stimulant drug acting on the central nervous system. Known by hundreds of slang words, among which the most well-known are snow, coke, yayo, white and so on, it is a well-known drug, used for both medical and recreational purposes.
In real-life, it is a powerful nervous system stimulant, the effects of cocaine on the organism are various and long-lasting, usually between 15 and 30 minutes. Among other things, cocaine increases alertness, boosts confidence, but may also increase anxiety, and lead to paranoia and paranoiac delusions. It is also very well-known for being an extremely addictive drug - the better known effects of cocaine are not those suffered on consumption, but when under an addiction to the substance.
