CAWS incendiary slug is a projectile type for 12 gauge CAWS shells. CAWS incendiary slug shells contain a single, special projectile similar to a standard slug, but augmented with a highly flammable magnesium-based compound, designated MgX charge for "magnesium explosive charge". Each shell contains about 2 MgX charges. They are similar to their regular counterpart, but propel the slug at a higher velocity, in order to cause more damage.
