Agility is a statistic which governs how fast a creature is for non-combat actions: taking cover and escaping during combat, specifically.
The statistic's default natural value is +0. The Contestant's Agility can be modified by several factors, either temporarily (Food items, Meds, certain secondary effects) or permanently (through Augmentations.)
Encounters may have various different natural Agility values.
Agility can go no lower than -4 and no higher than +4. Thus, if after calculation, Agility would exceed +4 or go lower than -4, then it is treated as being +4 or -4 respectively.
Using the Agility stat
As the primary use of Agility is as a modifier for the cover roll and the escape roll, more details about these actions can be read here. It must be noted that reaching either extreme value (-4 and +4) has additional effects.
