Several kinds of characters are populating Mazeworld, you may want to get to know them all.
Main characters
- The Contestant, the protagonist and player character.
- The Administrator, the overseer and ruler of the Mazes.
Faction leaders
- Lance "Chaosclaw" Austin, the only Bionics expert in the Mazes
- Colonel Thomas Wight, the leader of the Maze Military
- Satoshi Sangi, also known as Kuromesan, the leader figure of Youkai activism, and more specifically of the Mind's Eye Task Force
- Sheriff Len Hargrave, the leader of the Maze Police
- Michael Yatela, don of the Yatela crime family, and de jure leader of the Outlaw faction.
- Heaven, Ltd., the entity that employs the Angelic faction.
- The Cardinal Gods, Angelic deities, whose likeness is represented on the Cardinal Amulets sought for by the Contestant.
- Hell, Inc., the entity that employs the Demonic faction.
Quest characters
- Dr. Philip Gage, chief of the Medical Science Team, mayor of Arnett and one of the people responsible for rebuilding the Contestant's body.
