A clothing shop is a business in Mazeworld specialized, as the name implies, in buying and selling clothing and armor items. Clothing shops also sell Load-bearing equipment and trauma plates for body armor. People in charge of clothes shops are called tailors.
Rules of a clothes shop
- Sells 12 random pieces of Clothing
- Sells 8 random pieces of Armor
- Sells 12 random Load-bearing gear items
- Sells 4 random Trauma plates
- Sells 8 random Youkai clothing outfits
- Has a 75% chance to sell 1d4 brand new gas masks for 200 P$ each
- Only sells one exemplary of every item displayed, except gas masks (up to 4).
- Buys back clothes, armor, trauma plates and LBE items for 50% of their value, but will not buy back gas masks.
- Accepts credit.
- Accepts valuables and will exchange them for money or credit.
- Delivery service: The shop may transfer all purchases to the Contestant's bank vault instead of being given in person, for a fee (200 P$ in a town shop, 800 P$ in an UA shop)
When threatened, a tailor will attempt defending themselves, and will threaten to stab the contestant if he/she doesn't stop, drop any items the contestant attempted to steal (if any), and leave the room.
Threatening or attacking a tailor can give the contestant a code orange, and killing one can increase it to a code red.
If a tailor dies, they will drop the following:
- Stiletto knife
- Load-bearing gear: Basic belt + Condor utility rig
- Clothing and armor: T-Shirt, Baseball cap, Mountain pants, Regular shoes
- A big purse
