The 9x19mm Parabellum (also known as 9x19mm Para, 9mm Luger, sometimes simply referred to as 9mm due to its ubiquity) is a very popular handgun cartridge developed in 1901 by Georg Luger. It is a very common cartridge used in handguns and submachine guns.
