Bionics are bio-engineered enhancements that can improve the physical performance of a living being by upgrading certain of its body parts. In essence, any being that has received bionics can be considered a cyborg (cybernetic organism).
In Mazeworld, Bionics are rare and useful enhancements that can upgrade the contestant's body parts and upgrade his/her physical performance permanently. They can be found at random in the rooms or purchased in a bionics workshop.
They are found in boxes, which contain the implant. Said implant must be brought to a bio-engineer, who will mount it on the body of the contestant.
Bionics provide permanent secondary effects as an upgrade, as long as the implant is still in the contestant's body… or the upgraded body part itself still on the contestant.
