Real-life data
Popular in the military, hunting, and among the civilian long-range enthusiasts, the .338 Lapua Magnum's worth has been proved several times, being the round responsible for the longest recorded sniper kill in history, at 2,475 meters (2,707 yards). Among hunters, it is increasingly popular, as the round is able to stop any kind of game (although the efficiency on very large game, such as rhinoceros or elephant, is arguable).
