Sodium nitrite is an inorganic, originally cristalline compound. It is the main component of the sodium nitrite antidote, which is basically a liquefied form of the cristalline compound. This substance is used in the treatment of cyanide poisoning, and is its main antidote.
In Mazeworld, the antidote may cure all forms of poisoning.
Strategy
It is a must-have item, which is always safe to consume and has one specific purpose: curing of the potentially deadly poison; which may occur in the case of accidental consumption of spiked food, or as the side-effect of certain attacks.
Aside from the usual methods of finding, sodium nitrite antidote vials may notably be found in TYPE-J and MEDAID1 crates.
Being a vial, it is strongly required the drug is kept until the contestant finds a medic or a peaceful scientist to identify the pill, as it shares its appearance with ADBAC, Ketamine, Merbromin, Sperm serum, Yohimbine and a vial form of placebo.
