The .300 Winchester Magnum (also known simply as .300 Win Mag, or sometimes .300 WM) is a high-caliber rifle cartridge developed in 1963 by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company.

It is a match-grade caliber, intended for long-range sniping purposes, and possesses appropriate power for this job; as such, it is considered a top-tier round.

How to read this?

As a match-grade caliber, the .300 Winchester Magnum is capable of killing anything that isn't even remotely protected with some form of armor. Even against targets with better protection, the .300 Win Mag remains very dangerous and is quite capable of taking them down.

It is however a moderately rare caliber, used only by a handgul of weapons in Mazeworld. .300 Win Mag is available in boxes of 30 or 150 rounds, and can be found either at random in the rooms, or bought at a gun shop/weapon shop for the fairly high price of 7.5 P$/round.

Because of its moderate rarity, it can become a prohibitive caliber with which ammunition conservation is more than recommended for anyone who hasn't had the chance to stock up. However, it remains a very interesting caliber to use and will provide the contestant with a powerful and reliable cartridge.
