The .32 ACP (also known as 7.65x17mm Browning) is a small caliber pistol cartridge developed in the late 19th century. It is the least powerful round of Mazeworld.

Real-life data

Developed by famous firearms designer John Browning, the .32 ACP caliber was the first pistol cartridge he designed. It was officially introduced in 1899 by Fabrique Nationale along with the FN M1900 semi-automatic pistol.

The cartridge was designed for blowback semi-automatic pistols without a breech locking mechanism, due to its low power and small size. It was adopted by several countries and governmental agencies.
Today, it is a suitable caliber for concealed carry and small-game hunting, although suitable sights, if ever, exist for the latter purpose.

How to read this?

This caliber is a challenge to be used efficiently in just about any situation given. Being the least powerful caliber of the game, it has barely enough power to kill an unarmored target in the head, the .32 ACP simply isn't made to kill, and barely even to properly shoot someone. Its usage can be best described as a challenge round, or a self-defense caliber, and even then, plenty others can fulfill this role and still have correct killing potential.

In practice however, this also applies for the contestant's enemies. Some of them may be equipped with a .32 ACP weapon, in which case they aren't even a significant threat. With sufficiently good armor such as Kevlar-3-grade clothes and armor, the contestant has practically nothing to worry about.

.32 ACP ammunition remains, thankfully, relatively rare. It can be found at random in the rooms, or bought for a pitiful price in a gun shop or a weapon shop - it's available for as little as 2 P$ for 5 rounds, making it the cheapest caliber of the game, sold in boxes of either 50 or 250 rounds.
