A cigarette is a roll of paper filled with finely cut tobacco, designed to be lit (usually with a lighter) in order to be smoked. Tobacco's main component is nicotine, which is the substance that affects the user.
Cigarettes are among the few "licit" drugs known to be used worldwide. They have been invented in the 19th century.

Nicotine is a stimulant, and a highly addictive substance - regular smokers use cigarettes as stress relief, as the lack of nicotine in the bloodstream increases stress and anxiety.

Strategy

In Mazeworld, cigarettes can be smoked as a substitution to food should it become scarce and needs to be saved. It reduces Hunger by 2d6, but due to the nicotine's effects, lowers accuracy for 2d6 turns as well. Additionally, it serves as a very mild Libido inhibitor, as each cigarette reduces Libido by 1d10 percent.

It must be noted that the Hunger rate decrease and the nicotine's effects are separate rolls - which means that if the contestant's Hunger was relieved by 12%, it doesn't necessarily mean 12 turns of effect duration. As such, cigarettes should be used carefully - it is very possible that the effect duration may be counterproductive, unless he/she is willing to take the risk.

Being a medical aid with a unique shape, it does not require identification.
