A forge is a business in Mazeworld specialized in buying and selling melee weapons, specifically Class 5 and Handgear. and, for the rare cases of Class 5 weapons with some, ammunition. Forges are specialized and won't deal with firearms at all.

Forges are their own kind of roomstyle. If this forge is occupied by a working blacksmith, then the forge is an active shop and can be used as such.

Threatening or attacking a blacksmith can give the contestant a code orange, and killing one can increase it to a code red.

If a blacksmith dies, they will drop the following:

Special weapon conversion service

Certain weapons may be converted to special Artifact versions, on the condition that the user fulfills all of the conditions: bringing the relevant base weapon, demonstrating sufficient skill or prowess, and paying the conversion cost.

Barbed Lucille

A wooden baseball bat which has been improved with thin, sharp barbed wire, held in place with iron studs. May or may not have been inspired by a popular zombie show. Probably not as durable, but certainly a lot more intimidating.

  • Base weapon: Baseball bat, wood
  • Requirements: Two-handed club skill must be at least Skilled (Lv3) or higher
  • Conversion cost: 150 P$
  • Event line: [Weapon] Class 5 Long - R7/Unique - Barbed Lucille (Two-handed club) - Strike (Sharp) - Wood - Weight: 14
  • Effects of conversion:
    • 0.6x max durability (2700 points), weapon now deals Sharp-type damage, weapon may now deal 1d4 wounds per hit.

Golden Axe

A stylized weapon, patterned after a battle axe of old, but born out of very modern, advanced technologies. Constructed largely of steel and titanium, it was coated entirely in titanium nitride (not just the axe heads, the whole weapon), resulting in a distinctive, shiny golden color. The axe blades themselves are much sharper than those of a regular battle axe. The result is a diabolically durable and extremely sharp weapon, almost too awesome to be used as such... Whoever made this axe probably spent too much time on video games, though.

  • Base weapon: Battle axe
  • Requirements: Axe skill must be at least Expert (Lv4) or higher
  • Conversion cost: 2000 P$
  • Event line: [Weapon] Class 5 Long - R7/Unique - Golden Axe (Axe) - Slash (Sharp) - Steel - Weight: 18
  • Effects of conversion:
    • 2x max durability, 1.5x Limb Damage

Studded Negan

An iron baseball bat, which has been improved with nuts, bolts and screws, directly screwed into the striking face of the bat, in order to make it deadlier and more painful. Probably not as durable, but certainly a lot more intimidating.

  • Base weapon: Baseball bat, iron
  • Requirements: Two-handed club skill must be at least Expert (Lv4) or higher
  • Conversion cost: 250 P$
  • Event line: [Weapon] Class 5 Long - R7/Unique - Studded Negan (Two-handed club) - Strike (Blunt) - Iron - Weight: 18
  • Effects of conversion:
    • 0.5x max durability (5500 points), 1.25x Pain, 1.5x Limb Damage.
