Gas mask (no ontology)

A gas mask is a key item in MazeWorld. Gas masks are worn on the face, and are compatible with the majority of headgear (with a few exceptions, see below). The purpose of a gas mask is to protect against gas clouds that can be produced by certain grenades. An active gas mask provides the wearer with a immunity to gases effect.
A gas mask can be equipped as a key item, or carried as a regular item.
- If equipped as a key item, the gas mask is considered to be active: it is worn on the wearer's face and will not have any weight impact on the inventory.
- If carried as a regular item, the gas mask is considered to be inactive: it is not in use, it will not protect its wearer, and it weighs 1 unit.
Gas masks are consumable items, they do not protect the wearer indefinitely. A brand new gas mask is equipped with a filter that can protect against the effects of active gas clouds for up to 20 turns. For each turn the wearer spends in a Battlespace Side where a gas cloud is active, the filter's health will deplete by 1 turn, until it is depleted or the gas mask is removed.
Gas masks found at random in the Mazes new may have filters in a random condition. They can also be purchased with a brand new filter in a Clothing shop for 200 P$ each.
Caution: Wearing certain headgear may prevent the use of a gas mask. See the List of headgear to find out which ones.
