Lightning Reload is a technique, which consists in reloading firearms using certain feeding systems in an extremely quick manner.

Shooting ranges teach this technique for 3000 P$.

In order to perform Lightning Reload, the Contestant must be using a firearm that can be fed with any of the following:

  • Magazines (including en-bloc clips)
  • Stripper clips
  • Moon clips
  • Speedloaders

If the weapon cannot be reloaded with either of the above, Lightning Reload cannot be performed.

When performing a Lightning Reload, the Contestant is allowed to shoot and reload during the same turn. The reload action can be performed before or after shooting. When reloading, what happens depends on the feeding system employed:

  • When reloading a firearm using magazines, en-bloc clips, or moon clips, the old magazine or clip is dropped on the floor at the end of the reload.
  • When reloading a firearm using a speedloader or stripper clips, the clip or speedloader is dropped on the floor at the end of the reload.

Don't forget to pick up your mags, clips and loaders from the floor.
