  • Color: Customizable colors

Affected clothing:

  • HEV Suit: VarAC (1 battery repairs 0.50 condition), Color
  • Powered Combat Vest: VarAC (1 battery repairs 1.00 condition)

Variable AC

Armor Class changes according to its current condition.

  • 3.01 points and above: HEV AC
  • 2.01 - 3.00 points: Kevlar-4 AC
  • 1.01 - 2.00 points: Kevlar-3 AC
  • 0.01 - 1.00 points: Kevlar-2 AC
  • The suit critically fails and breaks down as usual when down to 0 points.

Variable AC clothing can be repaired by charging them with HITB batteries. Battery/condition ratios are displayed above.

Customizable colors

The HEV Suit and Helmet are capable of altering their color to fit the user's preferences. HEV gear has two colors, the default scheme is Orange/Gray. The suit may adapt its color scheme according to the user's requests, and may even accept non-plain colors; patterns and camouflage are valid options.
