Rubber buckshot (Also known as less-lethal buckshot) is a type of load for 12 gauge shotgun shells. In lieu of containing lead shot, this shell contains less-lethal rubber buckshot. It has much less chances to penetrate, and is designed to stun and incapacitate rather than kill. Beware, as these shells are still capable of causing lethal damage, especially if fired excessively or aimed at the head.

Usage notes

Rubber buckshot is a multiple-projectile type of ammunition, meaning that if the shot fired is a hit, this ammunition type is capable of inflicting multiple hits. Buckshot has the following effects:

  • FT-1
  • Shell contains 9 projectiles ; On a successful hit, 1d9 projectiles may hit the target.

Rubber buckshot is also a less-lethal shell, designed to incapacitate. The projectiles it fires, while still capable of causing damage, is designed to NOT penetrate the target, and should instead bounce on the body of the target, causing bruises.

  • Less-lethal ammunition has a chance to stun the target, per successful hit.
  • Rubber buckshot has a 20% chance to stun the target for 1 turn, per pellet hit. Multiple stunning hits may stack up the stun duration.
