Codeine, or 3-methylmorphine (may also be written Codein), is an analgesic drug. It is an opiate, like morphine, as the two substances are coming from the same plant (opium poppy), they are closely related. In real-life, codeine is commonly used to treat mild to medium pain, and to relieve cough, but is known for several adverse effects, such as nausea, depression, miosis, and more.
Being a 'white tablet, it is recommended the drug is kept until the contestant finds a way to identify the pill before consumption.
