Epinephrine, also known as adrenaline, is a catecholamine substance and a hormone, naturally produced in the body of many living beings.
Epinephrine increases heart rate, respiratory rate, constricts blood vessels, dilates air passages, and contributes to the "fight-or-flight" response. It is medically used to treat cardiac arrest and anaphylaxis because of its "jolting" properties. When administered in high doses, the substance causes tachycardia, arrhythmia, anxiety and headaches.

Being a syringe, it is recommended the drug is kept until the contestant finds a way to identify the pill before consumption.
