Charging is a technique, which consists in using a Staff/Pole weapon with a Piercing damage type attack, and charging forwards, point first, into an enemy in a single, powerful attack.

  • The charge can also be performed with firearms if they have affixed bayonets - it then becomes a bayonet charge, but the principle and rulings remain the exact same.

Charging can only be performed once per turn (only 1 Charging attack per turn), and it requires the target to be on a different Side of the battlespace, even though it is a melee attack, it cannot be performed if the target is already within melee range (on the same Side).

If an attack performed while Charging successfully hits the target, the weapon deals 1.5x Pain and Limb damage, due to the extra strength and momentum.
