The act of identifying unknown objects is part of Mazeworld. Identification is required to tell apart items that look the same, but are in fact, different.
The following items may be identified:
- Gems
- Medical aids
- Poisonous foods
- Condition and cleanliness percentage values of a firearm
- Mushrooms
How to identify items
A contestant cannot usually identify by himself/herself items.
- Archaeologists can identify unknown gems.
- Medics can identify unknown meds.
- Hakutaku can identify unknown mushrooms.
- Jewelers can identify unknown valuables.
- Engineers can give percentile values of a firearm's condition and cleanliness, usually for free.
- Scientists in the ST of Physics/Chemistry can identify multiple items; unknown gems, meds, and mushrooms.
Certain items may be found already identified. This is the case of items found in crates, for example.
