.475 Wildey Magnum (also referred to as .475 Magnum, .475 Wildey or .475 WM) is a pistol cartridge designed in 1977 by Wildey and first produced by Winchester. It is a large semi-automatic pistol cartridge intended for the Wildey line of pistols, and is primarily designed for large game hunting. This cartridge develops tremendous energy ; propelling a 300 grain bullet at velocities upwards of 1500 ft/s (~457 m/s) out of an 8 inch barrel. The cartridge is also designed from the ground up with handloaders in mind ; very few factory loads exist, however a large array of handloading data exists for this cartridge, making it very versatile and adaptable.

The cartridge, alongside the Wildey pistol, have both been portrayed in the movie Death Wish 3, where it is the personal firearm of protagonist Paul Kersey. The pop culture exposure helped increase interest and popularity for the cartridge. In turn, Wildey pistols are still in production as of today.
