4.73x33mm Caseless (also known as 4.73x33mm DM11) is an unique rifle cartridge, designed as a joint effort between weaponss manufacturers Heckler & Koch and Dynamit Nobel, as part of the infamous G11 project, which gave birth to the numerous prototypes of the H&K G11 caseless rifle.
The unique, caseless nature of the cartridge would have allowed the G11 to be loaded with considerably more ammunition than other, traditional, cased firearms, among other innovations. However, both cartridge and weapons were shelved and remain, at least in real life, prototypes.
