.338 Norma Magnum (also referred to as .338 Norma or .338 NM) is a rifle caliber designed in 2008 by Jimmie Sloan and produced by Swedish manufacturer Norma. Similar in performance to .338 Lapua Magnum, .338 Norma can be and often is loaded with the same projectiles as those for .338 Lapua, achieving the same, if not similar overall cartridge length. While .338 Norma can theoretically be used in all of the same roles as .338 LM, it is primarily known for being the caliber in which the LWMMG (Lightweight Medium Machine Gun) is chambered for, making it the first man-portable .338 caliber belt-fed machine gun in the world, granting it much greater range and power than traditional 7.62mm LMGs.

In the Mazes, it is one of the so-called rare calibers, ammunition for which no standard production firearms and no boxed ammunition exists, but for which certain Maze Customs services are available.
