Wounding self is one of the abilities of a contestant. He/she will attempt to create himself/herself a wound.
It can be performed willingly, or is triggered by an event.
Causes and effects
- This ability can be performed with any weapon the contestant owns, and might result in according damage, up to death depending on the weapon and the contestant's level of protection.
- This ability may be forced if the Sword of Muramasa fails to hit an opponent. It does not cause damage if used this way, but the contestant will lose an unit of blood and get an open wound.
- This ability can be performed at any time, has no cooldown period and has no costs, aside from the obvious fact it will hurt.
- Wounding self works exactly like with using a weapon against an enemy, at the difference no dice are thrown, and it always succeeds.
