9x25mm Dillon (also known as 9mm Dillon, 9x25 Dillon, 9mm Dln) is a pistol cartridge first developed in 1987 by Randy Shelley, employee at Dillon Precision. It is a cartridge based on the 10mm Auto, necked down to accept the same 9mm projectiles as the 9x19mm Parabellum. The relationship of this cartridge with 10mm Auto is, in fact, similar to that of .357 SIG with .40 S&W.

The original purpose of 9x25mm Dillon was to obtain a cartridge capable of pushing a 9mm projectile sufficiently fast to qualify for the IPSC Major power factor, which was at the time 175. It gained popularity in the competition shooting scene, being notably used by IPSC shooters Rob Leatham and Jack Barnes. The 9x25mm Dillon case is capable of reaching tremendously high velocities ; a 115 grain projectile being pushed out of a pistol barrel will reach velocities in the 1700 to 1800 ft/s range (~518-550m/s) depending on barrel length.

In the Mazes, 9x25mm Dillon is somewhat considered to be a "Magnum" version of .357 SIG, much like how 10mm Auto is a more powerful alternative to .40 S&W. It is also one of the so-called rare calibers, ammunition for which no standard production firearms and no boxed ammunition exists, but for which certain Maze Customs services are available.
