Speed strips are strips of flexible rubber designed to hold revolver ammunition. They fulfill the purpose of speedloaders but for single-action revolvers, by allowing faster reloading than from loose rounds. Unlike speedloaders, which are similar to magazines in that they fit to only one model, speed strips are tied to the caliber of the cartridges they hold - and as such, tied to the weapon's caliber.

Any speed strip of any size can be used to reload a single-action revolver, so long as their calibers are the same. Compatible weapons are listed, but bear in mind that relevant custom single-action revolvers are also compatible.
+
Any speed strip of any capacity can be used to reload any single-action revolver, so long as the weapon's caliber matches (or is compatible with) the ammunition in the speed strip. Don't forget that if the capacity of speed strip and weapon do not match, the weapon may not be reloaded to full, or the speed strip will still be holding ammunition after reloading.

Speedloaders
Speedloaders
Speedloaders are objects designed to drop in fresh rounds inside cylinder revolvers, much quicker than with loose rounds by hand. They are standardized by cylinder size and caliber. They are primarily designed for double-action revolvers, which can have their cylinders swung out of the frame - the only way for a speedloader to do its job and access all the chambers at once.

They are primarily designed for double-action revolvers, which can have their cylinders swung out of the frame - the only way for a speedloader to do its job and access all the chambers at once.
-
As such, as long as the speedloader matches both the revolver's caliber and capacity, they may be used regardless of the model. Compatible weapons are listed, but bear in mind that relevant custom double-action revolvers are also compatible.
+
A speedloader can be used to reload any double-action revolver ("Semi-auto" in the event line), as long as capacity matches (6-round speedloader -> 6-shot cylinder) and ammunition loaded in the speedloader is compatible with that of the weapon.
 +
* Example: A .357/.38 speedloader can hold either .357 Magnum ammo, .38 Special ammo, or a combination of both.
 +
** If the speedloader is loaded with only .38 Special ammo it can be used to reload either .357 or .38 revolvers.
 +
** If loaded with only .357 Magnum, or a mixture of both, it can only be used in .357 revolvers since .357 ammo does not fit into .38 revolvers.
-
All speedloaders weigh 0.25 units.
+
A special sub-type of speedloader exists: it is called a Moonclip. Moonclips differ from speedloaders in that they're designed to hold rimless ammunition, which would otherwise fall through a revolver cylinder. Moonclips differ slightly from speedloaders in terms of use. Unlike speedloaders and speed strips, which dump (transfer) the ammo they hold into the weapon, moonclips function a little more like box magazines: they are inserted inside the cylinder loaded, the weapon holds the moonclip.

Ammunition belts are special feeding accessories. Like many magazines, they belong to certain families, and certain weapons can only use and fire belts of a given family. The caliber, list of compatible weapons (and belt size they come standard with), empty and full weights, belt sizes and price per belt size are listed along with each of the belt families.

Revision as of 04:51, 19 October 2015

This page lists which weapon accessories are compatible with which weapons. It will also list their prices when sold in the appropriate shops.

Muzzle accessories

Silencers

Silencers are classified and named after the power group and rough bore size OR proprietary attachment point they're compatible with. If the firearm is of a suitable caliber and has a threaded barrel with no muzzle accessories mounted, then it is compatible. Reminder: Many firearms can be modified at the Maze Customs to receive a threaded barrel, and a select few are pre-threaded.

The threading type required is listed in the name; either Standard, or one of the proprietary types, for which a separate device is required even if the caliber would otherwise match. For example, a standard Pistol .45 suppressor will not fit on a MAC-10; it requires a MAC device silencer.

Standard silencers

Proprietary silencers

Proprietary devices fit certain, special threadings or mounting systems, regardless of the caliber of the host weapons.

  • Silencer, MAC device - 250 P$
    • Compatible with: Firearms with MAC threading (MAC-10, MAC-11, Tec-9)
  • Silencer, MP5 3-lug device - 350 P$
    • Compatible with: Firearms with 3-lug system (H&K MP5A3, MP5/40A2, MP5/10A3, UMP-9, UMP-40 and UMP-45 + all Customs MP5 except with MP5SD modification.)
  • Silencer, AK device - 350 P$
    • Compatible with: Firearms with AK mounting system (AKM, AK-74, AK-101, AKMSU, AKS-74U, AEK-971, AEK-972, AEK-973 + all Customs AKs with Soviet receiver.)
  • Silencer, MP9 device - 300 P$
    • Compatible with: Firearms with MP9 lug system (B&T MP9)

Integrated silencers

Integrated silencers refer to silencers that are part of the barrel and impossible to remove, being an integral part of a weapon.

Class 1 weapons

Class 2 weapons

Muzzle brakes

Muzzle brakes, much like silencers, are classified and named after the power group and rough bore size OR proprietary attachment point they're compatible with.

For example, a standard Rifle .22 brake will not fit on an AK-101; it requires a 24mm AK device brake.

Standard brakes

Proprietary brakes

Proprietary devices fit certain, special threadings or mounting systems, regardless of the caliber of the host weapons.

  • Muzzle brake, MAC device - 200 P$
    • Compatible with: Firearms with MAC threading (MAC-10, MAC-11, Tec-9)
  • Muzzle brake, MP5 3-lug device - 300 P$
    • Compatible with: Firearms with 3-lug system (H&K MP5A3, MP5/40A2, MP5/10A3, UMP-9, UMP-40 and UMP-45 + all Customs MP5 except with MP5SD modification.)
  • Muzzle brake, 24mm AK device - 350 P$
    • Compatible with: Firearms with 24mm threading (Kalashnikov AKM, AK-74, AK-101, AKMSU, AKS-74U and all Customs AKs with Soviet receiver.)

Integrated muzzle brakes

Integrated muzzle brakes refer to muzzle brakes that are either integral to the weapon and impossible to remove, or are removable (e.g. for installing a silencer instead) but remain proprietary to this firearm. For coherence purposes, when a silencer is equipped on any of those firearms (if they can accept one), the proprietary muzzle brake is removed and placed inthe inventory. Concerned weapons are marked with a R (for "removable") tag.

Removable proprietary muzzle brakes have a value of 0 P$ and a weight of 1 unit, and only fit on the firearm model it was designed for.
Firearms with removable proprietary muzzle brakes all use Standard threading for the purposes of mounting other muzzle accessories.

Bayonets

There are 26 bayonets in MazeWorld. Compatible weapons that are marked (NB) means "Non-Blocking", which means mounting a bayonet on this firearm will not block mounting an UGL.

Optics

As explained here, in order for a weapon to mount an optic, it must have an optic mount. Thus, this list will detail which firearms have which optic mount types.

Weapon names listed with a "standard optic" denotes that this weapon is meant to come stock with the listed optic model; i.e. it will always be found with this accessory when bought new in a shop, for example.

Weapons with integrated optics

Certain weapons come with non-removable optics designed solely for the weapon they are mounted on.

Front mount accessories

Bipods

The universal bipod costs 250 P$. These bipods may be mounted on certain firearms. In rare occasions, the universal bipod will be part of certain stock firearms. Many other firearms may also come with their own, integrated (and thus non-removable) bipods.

Feeding accessories

There is a large variety of feeding accessories available in Mazeworld. Information shown about them lists empty weight, cost, and for the majority of items, a size tier.

The price listed for all items implies they are empty; exception for ammunition belts, which are sold full - as such the prices listed for ammo belts implies they are full. The weight of the belts when full is also shown, for consistency.

Size tiers are relevant for Load-bearing gear and particularly ammo pouches, which may have limitations on maximum magazine size they can carry. Size tiers only applies to magazines and clips. Speed strips, speedloaders/moonclips and ammunition belts do not have size tiers.

Empty weight Size tier
0.25 Tiny
0.5 Small
1 Medium
1.2 Large
2 V.Large
3 X.Large
  • Trivia: The STANAG 100-round C-MAGs are slightly different from the real-life ones. The feed clip is taller, by about 2.8 cm (1.1 inch), so that it feeds without reliability issues on weapons such as the FN F2000. The drums are also slightly thinner, in order to make it more comfortable for bullpup rifle users.

Speed strips

Speed strips are strips of flexible rubber designed to hold revolver ammunition. They fulfill the purpose of speedloaders but for single-action revolvers, by allowing faster reloading than from loose rounds. Unlike speedloaders, which are similar to magazines in that they fit to only one model, speed strips are tied to the caliber of the cartridges they hold - and as such, tied to the weapon's caliber.

All speed strips weigh 0.25 units.

A speedloader can be used to reload any double-action revolver ("Semi-auto" in the event line), as long as capacity matches (6-round speedloader -> 6-shot cylinder) and ammunition loaded in the speedloader is compatible with that of the weapon.

  • Example: A .357/.38 speedloader can hold either .357 Magnum ammo, .38 Special ammo, or a combination of both.
    • If the speedloader is loaded with only .38 Special ammo it can be used to reload either .357 or .38 revolvers.
    • If loaded with only .357 Magnum, or a mixture of both, it can only be used in .357 revolvers since .357 ammo does not fit into .38 revolvers.

All speedloaders and moonclips weigh 0.25 units.

Ammunition belts

Ammunition belts are special feeding accessories. Like many magazines, they belong to certain families, and certain weapons can only use and fire belts of a given family. The caliber, list of compatible weapons (and belt size they come standard with), empty and full weights, belt sizes and price per belt size are listed along with each of the belt families.
